Training
Training is the key to transforming organisational culture and making the most of diversity. Through training you can develop and successfully manage diversity and reap the benefits of a more motivated, harmonious and productive workforce. Diverse, engaged, aware employees help you to match your customer base and understand the increasingly diverse marketplace. In a time of skills shortages, if you not only want to attract staff but to keep them and develop them, training is essential.

Diversity@work has years of experience in developing and delivering training programs throughout Australia, using our national network of expert trainers. We can roll out training across your organisation, train your trainers, or provide mentoring for specialist staff. We have worked extensively with government, public and private employment services, private companies and community organisations and routinely tailor our programs to the specific needs of these sectors. We have provided training for companies in broad range of industries such as finance, telecommunications, energy, retail, transport, hospitality and many others.
Our Approach
We combine best practice facilitation with cutting edge theory to ensure that the training experience is both challenging and enjoyable for all participants. Our approach accommodates all adult learning styles and our use of case studies and skill-building activities encourage participant engagement and interaction with our expert trainers.
Diversity@work's training services are delivered in a variety of formats. We can work with your organisation to develop a customised training program, or tailor an existing program specific to your organisation's culture, challenges and needs. We also offer low-cost seminars to the public which many organisations find ideal for training a handful of staff or to sample a program before tailoring it or rolling it out. For a larger group of staff, organisations usually find it more convenient and cost-effective for us to send our trainers to them.
